It’s hard to believe that it has been nearly nine years since a forward-looking group of community foundations joined forces in late 1999 to develop strategies and products they would need to excel in a changing marketplace. In the ensuing years, important strides were made on technology, marketing, accountability and, most of all, in the knowledge base and understanding of foundation professionals of future requirements for serving donors, making grants, tracking impact and managing operations.  

Unfortunately, in the past few years the funding environment for philanthropy infrastructure organizations like ours has been dramatically reduced. After exploring various alternatives, we have decided that it is best to complete our original program on a high note at the end of our fiscal year and close operations on September 30, 2008.
